This product looks absolutely nothing like the picture -- the finish in the picture looks to be a brushed aluminum or steel -- and the product in actuality is a dark bronze. Had to return it...
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I got my outdoor lites 2 wks ago and they are exactly what I have been looking for in the last 2 years. They look great now that they are on the house. I used the florescent bulbs in them, and they look great and I'm conserving on electricity.

We purchased 3 of these fixtures 1 on each side of our garage door and 1 to light the side passage to our front entrance. Our drive was on an incline so we wanted a fixture that didnt shine in your eyes as you pulled into the drive. These were excellent and provide an attractive contempory design to our property that none of our neighbors had. After moving to St. Louis we've been searching for these. And now we own 2 more.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Light projection is great as described and they are quite sexy too! The color is quite bronzy and they look great at night against my brick exterior; not too much light but just the accent you are probably looking for.
