nice looking but a little fragile.

The fixture is an attractive addition to my house. I like the fact that there are several coordinating fixtures that work together so I can use them at the back doors and under overhangs. The aluminum is pretty light weight and one of them was not perfectly round upon arrival making it difficult to screw in the glass lens.

Purchase these for a $1m home, look great, put out alot of light. One minor flaw to watch out for is the seal that keeps the water out of the glass is a bit fragile. Once the seal was replaced, have had no further problems.

Got this for our vacation beach house. Much better look than what was there. We opted to install it vertically as in the site photo, which matches similar lights we have inside. But you could install horizontally if you wanted.

The glass part does not fit as seamlessly against the metal as I thought--but it is not noticeable from a few feet away. Nice, heavy glass.

Time will tell how it really holds up in the coastal weather. I'll know more after this winter's storms.
