nice looking but a little fragile.

The fixture is an attractive addition to my house. I like the fact that there are several coordinating fixtures that work together so I can use them at the back doors and under overhangs. The aluminum is pretty light weight and one of them was not perfectly round upon arrival making it difficult to screw in the glass lens.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not so happy. This is the second exact sconce that I purchased from Lighting universe. First one came quick no problem. Second one for some reason was on back order so it took more then a month to be delivered. This time one of the glass covers had a inch crack on it. I didn't notice for a few weeks after receiving until I installed it. Since this crack went to the edge and that was where you screw it in the crack went up further.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Purchase these for a $1m home, look great, put out alot of light. One minor flaw to watch out for is the seal that keeps the water out of the glass is a bit fragile. Once the seal was replaced, have had no further problems.
