The photo does not do it justice - these fixtures are fabulous! We have a very woodsy setting, and have mounted this fixtures on carved wood posts along our driveway - they are absolutely perfect! Would recommend 110%

This is a wonderful outdoor light. It looks great with our vintage farmhouse, and I wish I had ordered three instead of two of them. I'll definitely use this light in a remodel we are planning. I really like the fact that the light shines down, and outward enough to illuminate our whole backyard, yet it does not shine straight outward the way most lights do. I can't stand looking at houses from a distance, just to see their lights shining like beacons. That light carries, and nobody wants their neighbor's light shining into their own home at night. This fixture just casts a softe downward glow, and from a distance you notice the house, not the lightbulb! Three cheers for "dark sky" fixtures. This one is gorgeous, and I recommend it highly.
